SMS Consent and Opt-In Disclosure

Last updated: July 2026

This page documents exactly how Simple Flow Automations collects express written consent before sending any SMS text message. It is published so that anyone, including carriers and campaign reviewers, can verify our opt-in process directly.

Where phone numbers are collected

Phone numbers are collected in one place: the Flow AI assistant, the chat window available on www.simpleflowautomations.com. Visitors who want Simple Flow to follow up on their inquiry may share a phone number during that chat. Sharing a phone number is always voluntary, and texting consent is never a condition of receiving help, booking a call, or purchasing anything.

How consent is collected, step by step

  1. A persistent disclosure is visible in the chat window at all times. The footer of the chat reads: "Flow is an AI assistant. By sharing your contact details you agree to be contacted by Simple Flow Automations by phone, text, or email and to our Privacy Policy & Terms. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts."
  2. Before any text is ever sent, the assistant asks for express permission. The visitor sees the following question and disclosure inside the conversation:
"Is it okay if Simple Flow Automations texts you at [the number you provided]? Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We never share your number, and our full terms are linked at the bottom of our site."
  1. The visitor must actively choose. Two buttons are presented: "Yes, texting is fine" and "No texts, please." Nothing is pre-selected. Consent is recorded only on an explicit yes, along with a timestamp.
  2. Declining changes nothing. A visitor who selects "No texts, please" still receives full assistance, and their inquiry is still handled by email or phone.

The visitor makes an active choice. Nothing is pre-checked, and declining does not affect service.

Opting out and getting help

Recipients can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and can reply HELP for help. Opting out takes effect immediately and requires only that single step.

How mobile information is handled

Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are never shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the service providers who deliver our messages (such as Twilio), solely to operate the texting service. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
